My journey with music and teaching

My name is Grace! I am a classically trained violinist who has been playing for over 10 years, I’ve seen it all; concert jitters, struggling to comprehend musical concepts and slowly seeing my skill unfold through hard work and practice. My time as a violinist has taught me that the most important skill you can have is passion! Learning to harness my passion has helped me grow immensely as a violinist, now as your child’s tutor I will ensure that passion grows within them.

My experience includes:

  • Youth Symphony

  • Chamber + Pit Orchestra

  • State Orchestra

  • 3+ years of teaching experience

  • 1 year as a violin teacher for over 15 students

  • Suzuki method

Our personalized teaching approach

My mission is to provide high-quality, personalized violin instruction that supports each student’s individual learning style, pace, and musical goals. I believe every child has the ability to become a confident musician when they are taught in a way that makes sense to them, in an environment that is encouraging, structured, and focused on real progress.

Through a balance of strong technical training and musical creativity, I aim to help students build a solid foundation in posture, tone production, rhythm, and reading music, while also developing expression, confidence, and a genuine connection to the instrument. Lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and achievable, so students always understand what they are working toward and how to improve.

Our philosophy: music is fun

The most important aspect of my philosophy is that I firmly believe the violin should be fun. Music cannot be seen as a chore or forced, as that is incompatible with true growth. Your child needs to practice because they genuinely want to better themselves. Music profoundly alters the young adolescent brain, and becoming a musician at a young age allows your child to develop into a more well-rounded individual. We strive to create an environment where passion for music flourishes naturally.
